Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Uddeshya

Project Uddeshya seeks to create an inclusive society for specially abled individuals by promoting awareness, education and engagement. Through awareness drives, teaching sessions, book donation canpaigns and support for sports and creative pursuits, we aim to nurture empathy and equity. By forging collaborations with organisations, we aspire to drive inclusivity and empower the community for a brighter, more connected future.

About the Millennium Fellow

Kanisha Nanda is a sophomore pursuing Bachelors in Commerce (Hons) at Jamia Millia Islamia in New Delhi, India. Kanisha is passionate about how the individual can have an impact on the world around them through social and empathetic actions and has always believed in "leaving the world better than we found it". With an unwavering belief in bringing about change and creating lasting impact, Kanisha has been associated with umpteen social organizations working around climate action, sustainability, animal welfare, and sports for specially abled. I further wish to work on projects fostering social change throughout the discourse of the Fellowship.
