Millennium Fellowship Project: GemRise Africa: Empowering lives, Eradicating poverty

I want the project to focus on teaching people about financial management. This is because in my immediate environment and even beyond, I came to realise that financial illiteracy is one of the major reasons why people are poor and remain so. I also hope to educate people about the impact of their health on their finances.

About the Millennium Fellow

Chake John Bwefah is a Nigerian youth that is passionate about seeing young people maximize their potential. He is a 500 level medical student with the University of Jos, Nigeria. He believes that financial constraints is not enough reason for people not making efforts to imparting their world positively. By empowering people with the necessary information, they will realize that lack of money is not a good enough reason not to reach for the peak in any chosen field.
