Millennium Fellowship Project: Sustainable Education through Internship Culture
This project is based on the less opportunities for the students of Kashmir. We there get higher education, but the system is not developed. The academic knowledge without practical internships is nothing. So that is the basis of my project. To make youth realise the essence of internships and fellowships, through which they can foster their careers.
About the Millennium Fellow
Yesrub Shabir is a final year law student, pursuing the degree from the University of Kashmir. She has a keen observation of societal needs, deprivation and sufferings, and that makes her a passionate social worker. She firmly believes that being human only in the form and shape is far from humanity. Being from a region which lacks internship culture, she realises well what opportunity loss is and thus the focus of her project is to find internship opportunities for those law students who lack the exposure and confidence.
