Millennium Fellowship Project: Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)
Healthy Lifestyle Choices Are Important
Background: Stigma, misinformation, and access barriers to clinical care and contraception limit young people's sexual health decisions on campus.
The goal is to incite cultural change that encourages healthy intimate choices.
3 month Key Activities
1. Myth-busting interactive games and sexual health reflection
2. A student event with 200 attendees
3. Posters on campus public spaces addressing taboos
Beneficiaries: 500 students on campus, with a focus on marginalized adolescents and freshly admitted students.
Outcomes:
About 400 pupils take part directly.
- 50% have boosted their sexual health knowledge.
- A 10% increase in visits to campus health centers for reproductive health services such as STI testing and counseling.
