Millennium Fellowship Project: PANDA MITI PROJECT-CLIMATE ACTION

Panda Miti Project or PMI is coined from Swahili language meaning Tree Planting project. This project acutely addressed the sustainable development goal 13 that is Climate Action or change. The project entailed two parts, the sensitization and creating awareness and then the participation on the actual activity of planting trees.

About the Millennium Fellow

Rubsone Ochieng is an ardent believer that climate change is worth everyone's participation. With the polar bears extinction due to melting ice, the increased amount of greenhouse gases and laxity in evasive action taken, he insists that this conversation must and should be started. His inspiration is the fact that all is not lost yet and the world stand a chance to win.
