Millennium Fellowship Project: THE TRANSITION PROGRAM

The Transition Program is a project that is meant to address 3 main agendas :
1. Creating a focus group for young adults ages 19-23 years dropped from the system, and providing them with resources so they can reach their potential.
2. Preparing students joining college for "real life " situations through helping them build meaningful relationships with their peers and mentors, teaching them part-time jobs that can help them earn some pocket money among others
3. Helping those not joining tertiary institutions realize their potential: such as grow their talents, abilities

About the Millennium Fellow

Sinida Mutua is a Finance major at Kenyatta University, born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. Sinida is zealous about how an individual can have an impact on the world around them through taking part in social responsibility and community engagement thereby opening doors to transparency. Through her project, she hankers to help individuals in the System become forerunners of the Sustainability Impact as she she grew up in Foster care herself. After graduation, Sinida plans to pursue a master's degree in Law and Economics and later work in an NGO in a field related to UN's SDG's; Good health and well-being.
