Millennium Fellowship Project: MindsCap Project

Mindscap is an initiative that is dedicated to bringing free and affordable therapy to our communities. Our mission is to make mental health services accessible to everyone who needs it, regardless of their background or financial situation. Through innovative technology, we are creating a platform that connects individuals with licensed therapists. But we didn't stop there, we've also established mental health clubs, safe and inclusive spaces where individuals can come together to connect, support each other, and engage in activities that promote mental well-being. We believe that by combining the convenience of our app with the power of human connection through our mental health clubs, we can create a holistic and transformative experience for individuals seeking support.

About the Millennium Fellow

Shalom is a third year medical student who is passionate about mental health and extending basic mental health services to her community especially to university students and refugees. This passion was inspired by her own struggles with her mental health that opened her up to seeing the burden of mental health issues in her community and desire to address it. Many people need therapy and other mental health services but are unable to pay for it, and that is the need Shalom wants to meet through her project.
