Millennium Fellowship Project: Antimicrobial Resistance Stewardship
Antimicrobial Resistance Stewardship, in which we create easy-to-comprehend content about what AMR is, how it manifests, and what we can do to stop its progression, and then share this information with secondary school and university students, together with the people in our communities, including teachers and farmers.
About the Millennium Fellow
Steven Lubega is a third-year medical student at Kampala International University in Uganda.
Steven dreams about making medical care in Africa (particularly Uganda) accessible and affordable to all. Also, he is an upcoming researcher in the medical field, having attended the 2023 Getting Started with Writing and Publishing Your Research online course, from which he gained so much insight into the field of research, writing and publishing.
After he graduates, Steven want to specialise in General surgery to help reduce the over reliance on blood transfusions in this blood-rare era. He dreams of promoting affordable bloodless surgeries in the global south.
Currently, he is doing his very best to promote the knowledge about Anti-Microbial Resistance far and wide and how all of us can join the strong fight to stop its progression.
