Millennium Fellowship Project: Girls mentor
We empower the female students in my community to focus on their education and prevent teenage pregnancies. We guide them on the kind of course they should embark on and sometimes assist them financially.
About the Millennium Fellow
Cindy Otoo is a third-year economics student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Cindy is an individual who is interested in making both economic and social impact on the world. Cindy is from the western and coastal part of Ghana where girl child is given a limited opportunity to education making it my prior interest. Through her project, she aims at mentoring the females and also educate them on teenage pregnancies. After she graduates Cindy plans on earning master's degree in public Finance and monetary economics.
