Millennium Fellowship Project: The PrettyWoman Hygiene Project

This project is aimed toward reducing menstrual poverty and fighting the stigmatisation associated with menstruation, especially menarche. A seminar will be organised for students in this project. The first session will include all genders, where they will be taught about the normal female menstrual cycle, the changes the body goes through and why it is normal. The second session will be for the females only where they will be taught intense menstrual and personal hygiene and why they should not see themselves as unclean during their periods. Sanitary pads obtained will be given to the students and a booklet on menstrual hygiene will be given to them.
