Millennium Fellowship Project: Pam'thunzi
Pam'thunzi is a group initiative led by Kamuzu University of Health Sciences Millennium Fellows. Pam'thunzi addresses the health and education of adolescent females. This project seeks to encourage female students in the community to reflect on the significance of education and to expand their knowledge of contraception. We hope to reach about 100 students.
About the Millennium Fellow
Ntchemo Tembo is a medical student at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences in Malawi. She is driven by innate desire to make a positive impact in her community. Ntchemo actively looks for opportunity to serve others by mostly engaging in volunteer activities during the holidays.Her good interpersonal relationships helps her work well with others. She is passionate about making a difference in the community when it comes to gender issues by ensuring both men and women are treated fairly. She has held different leadership positions as early as primary school.
