Millennium Fellowship Project: Orphan Support Uganda

Orphan Support Uganda

The Orphan Support Uganda project aims to provide essential support to vulnerable orphans (Children) who have lost their parents due to various reasons such as poverty, disease, conflict, war, and natural disasters. The project is designed to address the physical, emotional and psychological needs of orphaned children by providing them with education and emotional support to help them realize their full potential despite their circumstances.

The project focuses on the following key areas:

1. Education: Provide quality education to orphaned children by providing tuition fees, uniforms, books, and other educational supplies or connection to different providers.

2. Community engagement: The project aims to strengthen community support and engagement by creating awareness about the plight of orphans, promoting volunteerism, and developing community-based solutions that address the specific needs especially Education of orphaned children.

About the Millennium Fellow

Byaruhanga Simon Peter is an enthusiastic ,hopeful and diligent 3rd year student of Procurement and Logistics Management at Kyambogo University in Uganda, keenly interested in impact-oriented service. He strongly believes that it is in burying ourselves in service that we deepen our roots for growth and genuinely know whom we are. While at it he has passion towards advancement of quality education through provision of orphanage support services relating to educational, nutritional and emotional needs of orphaned and vulnerable children in his community. Lastly he equally believes that holding of hands to support each other is what will make the globe a better home for his citizens.
