The project The Fight Against NCDs aimed at creating awareness about the increasing incidence of non communicable diseases through outreaches to the university and nearby community. It also aimed at sensitizing people about living a healthy lifestyle
About the Millennium Fellow
Nakalema Winnie Sarah is a final year Ugandan student pursuing Bsc.Human Nutrition and Dietetics at Kyambogo University. She is a highly motivated, committed and a passionate nutritionist in the making. She is not only a student but also a part-time employee at Impact Nutrition Company and Baris Healthcare where she is dedicated to promoting good health for all. Winnie is a Co. founder of the project Fight Against Non Communicable Diseases that strives to create awareness, ensure prevention and management of the NCDs.
