Millennium Fellowship Project: Healthy earth Campus clean up
This project is about enhancing public health by ensuring that people have access to safe and clean water sources and that the environment is free from pollution and hazardous waste.
This project involves a range of activities that contribute to the protection and preservation of water resources and environment including
1. Water treatment : This involves the provision of water treatment facility that helps remove contaminants from water sources making it safe for human consumption.This may involve using filtration, chlorination , and other decontamination methods
2. Environmental Education: Educating the community about the importance of keeping the environment clean and safe and encouraging them to protect it . This may involve training on waste refuction sustainable farming practices and proper water usage.
Overall, this project is aimed at enhancing public health , refucing incidence of water borne diseases and also to promote sustainable environmental practices.
About the Millennium Fellow
Abdullahi Abdulsobur Olumide, a Kwara state (Nigeria) indegene and a 400 level undergraduate student of the Department of Biochemistry, Lagos State University. Born in the year 2002, Abdulsobur is an aspiring biochemist and an amateur football coach for his Departmental Football team driven with passion to impact lives of young people positively. His inquisitive mindset , thirst for knowledge and leadership entity have made him stand out amongst is peers
