Millennium Fellowship Project: One Page At A Time.

Over the years, education in rural areas has been quite underfunded. Young students go to school with less resources than necessary due to lack of ignorance. One Page At A Time is a project born out of the desire to see all school children settled with enough learning resources. It emphasises the need for quality education starting with enough and available learning materials.

The aim of this project was to sensitize the educational body (students and teachers) on the usefulness of education in alignment with SDG 4— Quality Education and provide students with writing materials.

About the Millennium Fellow

Adeola Adewole is a third year student of English Language at the Lagos State University. She serves as the General Secretary for the Junior Chamber International Chapter in her University. As a child, she was surrounded by books and thus became passionate about books and how educational and impactful they can be. It is her dream to see every child in Nigeria gain knowledge through books and become better versions of themselves. Adeola wishes to further her studies at the Masters' level by studying Speech Language Pathology to improve the quality of lives for others and to break down barriers that result from speech impediments. She spends her leisure time reading books, reviewing them and creating scenarios of interviews with Chimamanda Adichie and Oprah Winfrey.
