Millennium Fellowship Project: Sustain Africa

My project is Sustain Africa, a project specified under Climate Action which is SDGs 13. With Sustain Africa, we want to lend a voice to the climate change narrative while also taking and motivating other members of the society to take cimate actions. This is to say that Sustain Africa is both based on two broad principles, Climate Action and Climate Education.

So, in a bid to achieving the Climate Education part, I made a publication on the Sustain Africa Newsletter to educate people on the importance of taking climate actions, This was also followed by a publication by the Business Day Newspaper, a notable News Media Company in Nigeria.

On the other hand, I planned and launched a visit to the orphanage. I thought it wise to include other members of the cohort into this project (my personal project) as the campus director. We went there with food items, and other SDG inscriptions to tell them on the 17 SDGs. Personally, I handled SDG 13, Climate Action which is in line with my project. I told them why they need to take climate actions in order to save our world.
