Millennium Fellowship Project: On My Mind
"On My Mind" aims to create a healthier environment on university campuses by promoting the importance of mental health and providing a safe space for each and every person on campus!
Our project focuses on the mental health of university students, aiming to provide a safe space for students to talk about what's on their mind! Additionally, the project works toward raising awareness and destigmatizing mental health issues on campus by making workshops and events to provide the tools necessary for students to be able to cope with their stressors and be more knowledgeable about their mental health.
About the Millennium Fellow
Jenny Kyriakos is a third year Psychology student at the Lebanese American University in Beirut. Jenny is most passionate about the mental health and well-being of young adults like herself. Through her project, she aims to raise more awareness about mental health issues that young adults face, and provide a safe space for students of her campus to be able to talk about their university and day-to-day worries. She believes that a good mental well-being is of utmost importance for academic success. After she graduates, Jenny aims to pursue a degree in Neuropsychology.
