Millennium Fellowship Project: Empowering Future Leaders

The project, initiated with the goal of addressing SDG 4, specifically targeted high school students, recognizing the pivotal role education plays in shaping individuals and communities. By focusing on the university application process and financial aid and scholarship opportunities, the project aimed to bridge gaps and empower students from diverse backgrounds to pursue higher education, fostering a more inclusive and educated society.

About the Millennium Fellow

Khaled Houssary is a senior biology student at the Lebanese American University in Beirut, Lebanon. Khaled has always been fascinated about the impact youths can have on a country, and Lebanon is a prime location for such a change to be fostered and manifested. Born in Beirut, he witnessed first hand the disparities faced in the education sector and through his project, he hopes to alleviate this issue through iCademy in hopes of better preparing their youth yo take initiative for change.
