Millennium Fellowship Project: Climate SustainXchange
Climate change poses a great danger to people's health by causing a deviation of environmental conditions from normal. The welfare of the population's health depends on the availability of safe air, food, water, and hygiene, and the current situation is threatening those resources. The ClimateSustainXchange Project aims to improve the climate and sustain its normalcy by creating awareness and mobilizing people to take action. The project comprises three sub-projects: Treesurrection, Aquaconciliation, and Sanitation Club Formation. Through these sub-projects, the project seeks to address the problem of climate change and its impact on people's health by promoting the availability of safe air, food, water, and hygiene, creating sustainable sanitation clubs in schools, and improving rural water quality. The ultimate goal of the project is to create a sustainable future by improving the environment and promoting healthier lifestyles.
About the Millennium Fellow
Emmanuel Akintoye is a contemporary creative and a medical student. He writes basically all genres with focus on poetry. His works have been featured/forthcoming in literary magazines like Kalahari Review, The Dried Review, eMerge Magazine, USA; Touch Magazine and some others, he is also a curator at Threposs Magazine.
He is passionate about the SDGs 3 and 13 and has worked actively on Policy documents with medical associations and bodies to advocate for Good health and wellbeing as well as Climate action.
He is the Founder and Convener of Stethoscopes and Pens, a community for medical students who write.
