Millennium Fellowship Project: ACTION FOR CLIMATE CHANGE
Action For Climate Change is a social impact project aimed at reducing the high levels of temperature in Northern Uganda and providing a green cover to the bare lands by planting trees within the region through empowering youths to plant these trees
About the Millennium Fellow
Agasha Alex is a computer science student at Lira University in Lango sub region in Northern Uganda. Alex passionate about the well being of people and the climate changes in Uganda, Africa and the world at large. As a Ugandan, much of his education focused on the climatic changes on the region and the the future predictions through data science and research. Through his project, he hopes to help the region become a forerunner in climate change and climate diversification. After he graduates, Alex plans to earn a master's degree in Data science and work in the field regarding weather forecasting and telling how in the next years the country will be as far as climate change is concerned.
