Millennium Fellowship Project: Create Awareness and End Tuberculosis
The project is centered on raising awareness about tuberculosis within the surrounding communities of Lira University. We are reaching out to schools, hospitals and rural communities with meassages on tuberculosis causes, mode of spread, signs and symptoms, people at risk, and preventive measures. This aims at increasing health-seeking of Tuberculosis services, improving treatment outcomes among Tuberculosis patients, reducing Tuberculosis-associated stigma and discrimination, and minimizing the risk of transmission of Tuberculosis within the communities.
