Millennium Fellowship Project: Operation Shining Star

Operation Shining Star is an initiative that is focused on connecting with and elevating adolescent girls in underserved communities through community engagement. In collaboration with local organizations from within our community, namely Inner City Innovators, we aspire to create a workshop centered on mental health, academics and career prep, financial literacy and leadership. This project will focus on SDGs 4 and 10, Quality Education and Reducing Inequalities.

About the Millennium Fellow

Indyah Ferrouillet is a third-year student at Lynn University where she is pursuing a degree in Psychology with a minor in Social Impact and Justice. Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, she intends to apply to graduate school to further her education and become a life-long learner and social innovator. Ultimately, she would like to pursue a career in research and make advancements to the integration of psychological practices into social institutions.
