Millennium Fellowship Project: Raising Awareness on Antimicrobial Resistance.

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a global escalating health problem brought about as a result of antimicrobials failing to respond against infections. There is limited awareness among the public about the problem of antimicrobial resistance and its consequences. Raising awareness on antimicrobial resistance aims to create awareness about the causes, consequences and prevention of AMR to children and adults in refugee settlement. People in refugee settlements face alot of health challenges like poor hygiene and sanitation, limited access to safe and clean water, limited access to quality medicine and self medication. This project will educate them about proper health practices.
