Millennium Fellowship Project: Transform256

Transform256 is an independent project led by Millennium Fellow Sophie Kituyi alongside other fellows;Ratif Ssemujju, Lisa Ayebare,Esther Ginamara,Elizabeth Nyinebirungi,Collins Arinaitwe,Asphat Katongole,Natuhwera Bruno,Anderson Kyakoonye and William Nsubuga. Transform256 addresses issues of quality education access to the younger generation.The project aims to engage with members of the secondary school community(both students and educators) to reflect on social issues through open discussion that simultaneously appreciates technology as a means of knowledge attainment as well as the intention to groom among the teenagers crucial leadership skills.In addition to the planned physical workshops scheduled at various secondary schools, project Transform256 will conduct a minimum of three online events during the Millennium Fellowship period (August - November, 2023).Additionally, a chat room will be available for students and educators alike to convene and share ideas on how best to better the education sector in our communities.We are aiming to reach about 400 people combined across events.

About the Millennium Fellow

I am by the name of Mulindwa Raymond Peter. I am a Ugandan citizen, born and raised in the capital city Kampala of Uganda. I am a current finalist of Bachelor Civil Engineering at Makerere University awaiting graduation in January 2024.
