Millennium Fellowship Project: ANTI MICROBIAL AWARENESS REPORT

The aim is to increase the number of children who know about antimicrobial resistance as its become a more and more common burden within the country. The lack of surveillance even makes it worse that we don't know the exact number of people who are suffering with this issue.

About the Millennium Fellow

Environmental health science student Tumusiime Veldrine Benard attends Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda. Veldrine is passionate about encouraging her students to use the knowledge they have learned in the classroom to make their communities better. He wishes to encourage his fellow Makerere University students to adopt healthy reproductive practises and habits. He sees students as the nation's future, and he knows that in order to minimise the burden of STDs in his nation, he must focus on his fellow students.After graduating, he intends to pursue a master's degree in public health with the goal of enhancing reproductive health.
