Millennium Fellowship Project: EDUCATION FOR SOCIETAL CHANGE
The project is about sensitization of the community and the general public on the importance of the environment on our lives. It includes seminars, planting of trees, cleaning of markets and towns, cleaning rivers and streams as well as having workshops about the same.
About the Millennium Fellow
Rook,a passionate environmentalist has dedicated his life to protecting our environment. Pursuing a bachelor's degree education and focusing on chemistry, special needs, botany and zoology,Rook believes that he is in the right direction for the conservation of the environment. Together with other Environmentalists,he has worked towards conservative measures for our home. Such measures include planting trees and carrying out clean up activities in towns and rivers just to ensure that we live rather than just surviving. He is a UNESCO Maseno chapter member and thus is in great support for the SDGs.
