Millennium Fellowship Project: UNITE FOR TURQUOISE DAYS
The purpose of this project is to promote the principles of sustainable living and global citizenship as essential pathways to achieving a decent life. Through the Kyäni Caring Hands Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to empowering individuals and families, I will facilitate awareness-raising initiatives that emphasize the interconnectedness of personal well-being, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility.
My role as an Independent Business Partner in Kyäni, an Amare Company, provides me with a unique platform to engage with diverse communities and promote sustainable practices. I will leverage my network of connections to organize conferences, workshops, and social gatherings that highlight the importance of sustainable living in achieving a fulfilling and meaningful life.
My experience as an office worker at my home university's rectorate, where I interact with foreign students receiving Turkish preparatory education, has given me invaluable insights into the global perspective on sustainability and global citizenship. I will utilize these insights to foster cross-cultural dialogue and collaboration among students and faculty.
Currently pursuing my final year of bachelor's studies at Sciences Po, I have had the privilege of encountering esteemed individuals and professors from diverse backgrounds, including Manchester University and Galatasaray University. These enriching experiences have further deepened my understanding of global challenges and the potential for collaborative solutions.
The combination of my personal involvement with Kyäni, my professional role at the university, and my global academic experiences provides a strong foundation for this project. By leveraging these diverse perspectives, I aim to raise awareness of the interconnectedness of individual well-being, sustainable practices, and global citizenship, empowering individuals to achieve a decent life.
