Millennium Fellowship Project: CampusCare

This project encompasses mental health care, the stigma associated with mental illness, its underfunding, and the absence of high-quality treatment. This project aims to 1) fight stigmatization against mental illnesses and emphasize the importance of mental health 2) encourage and sustain mental health services in campus 3) Facilitate the accessibility of such services on campus.

About the Millennium Fellow

Ladis Alswaiti is a Jordanian undergraduate student at the Middle East Technical University in Turkey pursuing a degree in Geological Engineering. She has interest in climatology, sedimentology, and GIS programming. Global warming and environmental sustainability are of a great concern to her. She has been pursuing research opportunities her whole undergraduate experience, including research internships and travel opportunities for early career researchers. She is persistent on self-improvement to become an ethical engineer whose contribution to the world results in efficient and sustainable solutions to problems that mankind faces on the daily basis.
