Millennium Fellowship Project: METU Campus Compass

Metu Campus Compass is an Instagram page created to cater to the
diverse needs of international students. It is designed to be a
central hub of information and support, offering guidance in various
categories:

Practical Matters: Tips and resources related to banking, dormitory
selection, phone registration, transportation guidance, and essential
shopping.
Academic Support: Guidance on exam preparation, internship and career
development, course selection, and connecting with job opportunities.
We also provide insights into on-campus dining options.
Administrative Procedures: Information to streamline residency permit
procedures and equivalency requirements.
Language and Cultural Integration: Suggestions for language learning
resources and leisure activities to foster cultural integration.
Mental Health and Well-being: Prioritizing mental health with
resources and support.
Study Abroad Opportunities: Sharing insights into Erasmus Traineeships
and study abroad opportunities.

About the Millennium Fellow

Sara Netfa, a dedicated and aspiring [material engineering major at METU, is known for their passion for education and community engagement. Currently in their 3rd year, they are a valuable member of the METU Campus Compass team, where they provide support and guidance to international students. Their commitment to fostering a welcoming and supportive environment at METU is reflected in their work and interactions with the community.
