Millennium Fellowship Project: Beyond labels: Her Quest for Equality

My project, Beyond labels: Her quest for equality, focuses on intersectional feminism. This project delves into the intricate tapestry of intersectional feminism, particularly focusing on the interplay between gender, caste, class, religion and queer identities. Under this project, I curated an e magazine that published poems, short stories, essays, articles, etc. Written by those who have faced intersectional discrimination and wished to voice out their experiences.

About the Millennium Fellow

Harshita Bansal is a third year English literature student at Miranda House college, Delhi University, Delhi, India. She is an avid reader with a special place in her heart for the stories that mirror the dark side of our so-called educated and sophisticated society. She has witnessed the atrocities experienced by women belonging to the minority groups and it pains her deeply to see that violence on the basis of caste, gender, color, race and sexuality continues to exist. Her dream is to build and live in a society that looks at people beyond their gender, colour, caste, sexuality and race.
