We aimed to study the digitalisation of public policy and Anganwadi System (rural childcare health centres in India) in India. The Anganwadi system has recently adopted a digital application called POSHAN 2.0 to maintain child and mother records like thier health, weight, nutrition levels etc. Our main goal was to analyse the efficiency of this program towards the better of the children's lives. We found, after conducting interviews with healthcare workers who use them, that while the app is successful in maintaing stricter regulation in the country's anganwadi's, it does requires soe improvements like good internet penetration, an increase compensation for its users (as uses the app as been noted to increase their workload) for its complete success.
