Millennium Fellowship Project: Pehchaan
Pehchaan aims to work for those who are financially, mentally and even physically oppressed by the inhumane caste system which divides people into 'upper' or 'lower' caste.
According to constitution and law discrimination based on caste is illegal but it still exists in minds of people thus difficult to eradicate on ground level.
Through Pechaan and millennium fellowship, we aim to change this mindset which divide people based on caste starting with youth and with the end of this fellowship we hope to cultivate confidence in people that they are 'lower' caste.
