Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Mihira
Project Mihira is an initiative that aims to raise awareness of child sexual abuse. Child Sexual abuse is a severe problem that children, regardless of boundaries, are prone to face, leading to a lifelong trauma that is often left unnoticed. Project Mihira was initiated to illuminate the path to child safety. Mihira is an ancient Indian word meaning "Sun". The sun is a symbolic representation of light. I believe every child has a light within them, and it is important for us as a society to protect them so that they can have a brighter life. The project deals with SDG 16.2 which is to end abuse, exploitation, trafficking, and all forms of violence and torture against children.
