Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Yukti
Project Yukti marks a transformative effort to empower. The project intends to collaborate with institutions and groups from partner countries towards addressing similar issues and sharing methods and ways of living indigenous to our respective cultures thus building an enhanced understanding of the problems at hand and unique solutions to it, but also effectively addressing ground-level issues, providing solutions for it and, equipping the residents with options for seeking improvement in future as well.
About the Millennium Fellow
The Campus Director of Miranda House, Shreshtha Saxena's journey into community service started early, from teaching ABCs to househelps' children to advocating for sustainability and justice.
Armed with a background in Political Science and Geography, her heart lies in environmental sustainability, and she has delved into the depths of research to find solutions for climate change. Even venturing into the power sustainability realm, she has provided renewable energy transition strategies.
As an art enthusiast and classical dancer, creativity runs in her veins, and Shreshtha has coached and mentored community events. Being the founder of PLC SheRises and a founding member of Agamya, she has reached out to underprivileged communities, providing mentoring, educational lectures, and skill enhancement sessions.
As she embarks on this journey of impact and unforgettable memories, Shreshtha is eager and ready to lead, learn, and laugh together in the Millennium Fellowship.
