Millennium Fellowship Project: Empowering Minds and Transforming Futures
Our project aims to bring quality education to students in underdeveloped countries by expanding upon an existing US-based nonprofit: The Young Expressionists, specifically their Global Outreach branch (TYEGO). Through partnerships with local organizations, we hope to offer online classes taught by qualified high school and university students, particularly practical topics useful in real-world applications such as computer skills, excel, video editing, etc. We also plan to provide funding for local students and organizations. TYEGO is currently operating in the Philippines and Cambodia, and The Young Expressionists (the parent organization), founded in 2020, has donated $10,000 USD toward this global outreach initiative. By leveraging Minerva University’s unique worldwide community, we hope to expand these efforts to other countries to increase the positive impact this project can have.
About the Millennium Fellow
Anh (Anna) Dao comes from Vietnam and is a Minerva University student in the Class of 2027. She's currently interested in neuroscience and psychology. With her lifelong goal to empower people on their educational paths, she is eager to deliver quality education to students in underdeveloped countries through the Millennium Fellowship. Anna is working at Hoa Hoc Tro Magazine, Vietnam's largest teen newspaper, and she enjoys dancing and reading mysteries.
