Millennium Fellowship Project: Lunch for the Poor
A monthly meal for at least 50 people in various parts of Addis Ababa is the goal of the initiative of the program of Lunch for the Poor. This program also offers educational and informational programming with a focus on empowering people by developing their skills and capacities. I Different sanitary items, clothing, and other necessities can be gathered from sponsors and the general public to be provided for the people while they wait for the event's day of the month.
About the Millennium Fellow
Feven Tewodros is currently a second year preclinical student at Myungsung Medical College. She is born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia together with her 2 siblings. Since a very young age she is so passionate about bringing change towards her community no matter how small it is. She likes to share whatever she has and promote a Christian way of living. As a student she devotes most of her part time engaging in community services by visiting orphanages and also organizing a mini lunch program for the impoverished families and children. She aspires to use her medical profession to create a change in this world.
