About the Millennium Fellow
Issa Bakari is a criminology and criminal justice student at Masinde Muliro university in Kakamega county, Kenya. Issa is highly passionate and optimistic about how a young people can have an impact on their own community and the world at large through social justice, empowerment etc. Much of his educational career focused on the justice in Kenya . Through his project, he hopes to help the community become a predecessor in sustainability. After he graduates, Issa plans to pursue furthure studies and earn master's degree in Social work and community development and work in a field regarding Social justice.
