Millennium Fellowship Project: VIJANA UJANA (SRHR IN TANZANIA)
Vijana Ujana is a youth based group that is focused on building awareness and addressing different sexual reproductive and mental health issues in the society.
We hope to use our social media and physical platform to reach over 500 secondary schools students in our community. Empowering, educating them and creating safe spaces for them to discuss, share experiences about their Sexual reproductive health and promote growth and mental well-being of youth.
About the Millennium Fellow
Gloria E. Swilla is a dedicated final-year medical student at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Passionate about Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) as well as Mental Health advocacy, Gloria possesses a remarkable five-year track record collaborating with regional, national, and international organizations to advance these critical areas in Tanzania. Her steadfast commitment to promoting Sexual Reproductive and Mental Health is evidenced by her extensive experience. Through this Fellowship opportunity, Gloria aspires to further enhance her skills and expertise, aiming to develop impactful solutions that foster a global transformation in attitudes, actions, and the safeguarding of Sexual Reproductive and Mental Health.
