Millennium Fellowship Project: TANZANIA WORKSHOP AGAINST ANTIMICROBIAL RESISTANCE (TAW- AMR)
The project implemented covered a number of programs including provision of education to youth in secondary schools in Dar es Salaam region and Pwani. The project involved insite visitation to the students in schools and teach them on the basis of AMR and its major effects, causes and how to prevent through the major solutions.
Moreover, the project involved paying visits to mass media and provide this education to the youth not in schools, also to do a church visitation to provide education to the community. More over involved to have a research plan of which research will be conducted in the community for getting the knowledge and practices of community for basis of AMR.
About the Millennium Fellow
Goodluck Misonge is junior medical student at Muhimbili University of health and allied science at Dar es salaam Tanzania. He is passionate more on the part public health by trying to find different ways to serve his community best by using the knowledge he receive at the university to change people lives. As he studies his bachelor degree as Doctor of Medicine he really want to leave something in the world to be remembered for even after leaving this world and he hopes through his peoject he can achieve that and more as he plans to persue masters in internal medicine in future and become a physician .
