Millennium Fellowship Project: TANZANIA WORKSHOP AGAINST ANTIMICROBIAL RESISTANCE (TAW- AMR)
The project implemented covered a number of programs including provision of education to youth in secondary schools in Dar es Salaam region and Pwani. The project involved insite visitation to the students in schools and teach them on the basis of AMR and its major effects, causes and how to prevent through the major solutions.
Moreover, the project involved paying visits to mass media and provide this education to the youth not in schools, also to do a church visitation to provide education to the community. More over involved to have a research plan of which research will be conducted in the community for getting the knowledge and practices of community for basis of AMR.
About the Millennium Fellow
Meseline Raphael Mulokozi is an undergraduate in medical laboratory student at muhimbili university of health and Allied science . She is passionate about leadership and advocating for good health and well being (SDG 3) with much focus on sexual reproductive health and rights.
Through her project she believes she will contribute in providing sexual reproductive education and support to diverse group of people including Adolescent girls and young women . She aims at studying masters in Public health.
