Millennium Fellowship Project: TANZANIA WORKSHOP AGAINST ANTIMICROBIAL RESISTANCE (TAW- AMR)

The project implemented covered a number of programs including provision of education to youth in secondary schools in Dar es Salaam region and Pwani. The project involved insite visitation to the students in schools and teach them on the basis of AMR and its major effects, causes and how to prevent through the major solutions.

Moreover, the project involved paying visits to mass media and provide this education to the youth not in schools, also to do a church visitation to provide education to the community. More over involved to have a research plan of which research will be conducted in the community for getting the knowledge and practices of community for basis of AMR.

About the Millennium Fellow

Zainab Aboubakary Mlawa, a third-year medical student , dedicates herself to
and passionate about volunteering activities. Eager to learn and contribute, she engages in various initiatives that enrich her experiences beyond the classroom. Her commitment to community service underscores her desire to make a positive impact while continuously expanding her knowledge and skills.
