Millennium Fellowship Project: SAVE THE EARTH
Save The Earth project is a project that was thought of as a result of excessive damage to the earth and it's habitats, the massive increase in plastic pollution, poor waste management, ignorance of the people and lack of awareness concerning the climate crisis, high rise in temperatures and other factors that contribute to climate change is what laid the foundation of this project.
This project aims to create awareness among the people concerning the climate crisis, encourage people to be accountable and responsible towards the crisis, encourage reusing, recycling and reducing of waste materials, it also aims to empower the community be it women, men, children and youth to have a creative and entrepreneurship mindset by making artistic crafts that could be sold and generate them an income this creating employment for many other community members. The project also aims to promote green economy and lifestyle among the communities, hence training the community members on how to make organic compost from organic matter, the project is also aiming on finding other initiatives to keep crops health and replace fertilizers that destroy the soil.
If this is done, in the years to come the climate crisis will be reduced if not fully solved, the air we breathe and land will be health and even more fertile than before, community members will have a great sense of responsibility towards their environment and not always Walt upon the government to solve everything.
