Millennium Fellowship Project: Mulungushi University Awareness and sensitization project

The Mulungushi University Awareness and sensitization project is a project whose goal & aim is to raise awareness on mental health, substance abuse and their effects and also end stigma associated with having access to these services.
The project is also aimed at sensitizing on the need for access to these services focussing on advancing SDG 3

About the Millennium Fellow

Kambani Avraham Ngoma is a senior Medical student at Mulungushi university school of medicine and Health Sciences in Livingstone, Zambia.

As a medical student, Kambani is actively engaged in initiatives aimed at raising awareness and sensitizing the community on mental health issues, substance abuse, sexually transmitted diseases, HIV/AIDs, and ending the stigma associated with accessing these services as-well as policy formulation aimed at improving the healthcare of youths thereby contributing to the Sustainable development goals (SDGs) 1,3, 5 & 10.

Their charisma and empathy continues to foster a sense of unity which continues to inspire others to join the journey towards a healthier and more equitable world.
