Millennium Fellowship Project: Cheap Books
Cheap Books seek to find the root cause of expensive university textbooks and destroy that. The project wants to develop a website that has access to the thousands of textbooks used by universities and provides them for a way cheaper price than those marketed at university bookstores or online. To reduce the economic disparity that limits members of university communities.
About the Millennium Fellow
Asher Leveen is Los Angeles, California native, who is studying at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Asher is passionate about existing in a world where everyone has access to quality education regardless of economic status. He grew up watching his friends not have the same opportunity he did to receive quality education. His project hopes to reduce this inequality that is experienced globally. After he graduates he is looking to obtain a Master's degree in Internal Economy Development and work in a field that will push global equality.
