Millennium Fellowship Project: EDucation
EDucation is a non-profit organization that aims to focus on eating disorder awareness through education, advocacy, and connection. These 3 strong pillars make it possible to ignite change. Currently, the project investigates middle school health class curriculum and its impact on thoughts and behaviors around food.
About the Millennium Fellow
Zara Poon is a Fuzhounese, female-identifying student from the United States. As an Asian American that struggles with high expectations and mental health challenges, she is passionate about using her lived experiences to talk about the uncomfortable yet serious topic of eating disorders and obsessive compulsive disorder. She strives to reduce mental health stigma and increase treatment accessibility, while acknowledging everyone’s unique journey.
