Millennium Fellowship Project: Propining institutional designs as a means to advocate climate justice
Our ongoing project optimizes corporate tax payments to support environmental and social causes through enhanced transparency and accountability.
We advocate for reducing tax slab rates and mandating more CSR to encourage corporations to allocate resources towards societal welfare. Additionally, we are creating a platform to connect sustainable initiatives with corporate funds.
Key Components:
1. Tax Slab Reduction: Lowering tax rates incentivizes corporations to invest in CSR activities.
2. Enhanced CSR Mandate: Stricter CSR requirements ensure corporations contribute to societal welfare.
3. Integrated Funding Platform: A centralized hub facilitates efficient allocation of resources to sustainable projects.
4. Investment Opportunities: We encourage investments in social stocks, impact-driven ventures, and sustainable startups.
Scheme Implementation:
Surplus from reduced tax liabilities funds CSR activities, NGO support, and sustainable ventures, aligning corporate interests with societal needs.
