Millennium Fellowship Project: Safety Testing of Nomadic Water Sources
Water quality testing of nomadic water source on a mountain, presumed to have
hazardous biological impurities such as coliforms. The aim was to conduct standard
water quality tests such as TDS, coliform tests, etc , on the water in order to get an
insight about its safety and the safety of the people who rely solely on this water
source.
About the Millennium Fellow
Mohammad Ibrahim Salaria is a third-year civil engineering student at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar. He has a strong sense of social responsibility and a passion for sustainability. He wants to apply his engineering skills to improve the quality of life and the environment in his native Kashmir valley. He aspires to change lives for the better through his project. He hopes to make a positive impact on the world and contribute to the development of his community. He is a driven, creative and optimistic person who believes in the power of change.
