Millennium Fellowship Project: Greenland Initiative Waste Management Project- Kasenyi Landing Site

The Greenland Initiative's Waste Management Project in Kasenyi Landing Site and Entebbe Municipality aims to improve waste management practices and promote environmental sustainability in the target areas. The project has four main objectives: increasing awareness on sustainable waste management practices, promoting waste reduction and proper disposal, enhancing partnerships with stakeholders, and improving the NGO's capacity. The project includes activities such as conducting a baseline survey, developing educational materials, organizing awareness campaigns, training workshops, establishing waste collection points, collaborating with schools, and conducting monitoring and evaluation. By implementing these activities, the Greenland Initiative seeks to create a community that actively participates in sustainable waste management, contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment.
