Millennium Fellowship Project: The Street Tails

"The Street Tails🐾" is a visionary initiative born under the UN Millennium Fellowship, aiming to provide sustainable shelter for street dogs while addressing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of Zero Hunger and Life on Land. Our mission is to create shelters that ensure a constant supply of food and water for stray animals, regardless of weather conditions. Initially focused on stray dogs, we aspire to expand our efforts to cover other animals, such as cats and birds.

Measurable Goals (August-December 2022):
Establish at least three sustainable dog shelters in strategic locations, providing food and water to street dogs on a daily basis.
Raise public awareness about our project by conducting outreach events and engaging with a minimum of 500 community members, college students, and volunteers.
Forge collaborations with local businesses and organizations to secure regular food and resource donations for our shelters.
Develop a strong online and social media presence with a minimum of 1,000 followers on our project's platforms.
Begin the groundwork for expanding our initiatives to address the welfare of other stray animals, laying the foundation for a comprehensive approach to animal welfare.
Our journey is just beginning, and with the support of our community, we aim to make a tangible, positive impact on the lives of stray animals and contribute to a more sustainable and compassionate world. Together, we can achieve these goals and beyond.
