Millennium Fellowship Project: Masakali

The project undertaken our team called "Masakali," aims to break down barriers to
menstrual health care and resources for marginalized communities. The name

"Masakali," meaning "aspiring to fly high through peace and liberation" in Turkish,

captures the desire to create safe environments for individuals to access accurate
information, counseling, and necessary health care services related to menstrual and
reproductive health.

The project consists of four key components: menstrual health, reproductive health,
access to medical services for underserved groups, and raising individual awareness.

The activities involve coordinating between community organizations and healthcare
facilities to host workshops, events, and other outreach focused on these areas.

Ultimately, the goal is to achieve improved menstrual hygiene, better reproductive
health outcomes, increased access to health services, and greater knowledge about
menstrual and reproductive topics for all.
